Transitions Estate Services Inc. is Saskatchewan’s leading estate clearing service. We provide estate clearing services through estate sales, moving sales, donations, and disposal services. We provide our services to people dealing with the contents of an estate (a loved one has passed away) or supporting people moving to smaller homes who don’t have the ability to attend to what they can’t take with them.
Transitions Estate Services is seeking a client focused professional to oversee our services in the Saskatoon area. The General Manager will lead our Saskatoon operations and will be responsible for all aspects of client relations for Saskatoon and surrounding communities.
You should have a background that includes some retail, interest in or knowledge of used, thrifted, antique, vintage items or household goods. You must be client and solution focused. You must also have good computer skills allowing you to navigate our advertising, scheduling, and communications needs.

Reporting directly to the owner. Communicate all plans, progress, issues/concerns, client interactions
Management of hiring, terminations, staff shift scheduling, / new staff onboarding and performance feedback
Presentations and community engagement
Answer work Phone and respond to work emails
Client assessments
Client documentation
Scheduling of setups, sales, packups, D&Ds, online sales, and all associated tasks
Ongoing client communication and correspondence, including key management
Payroll review
Coordination of advertising with our communications coordinator
Client Cash Sheets, Billing and invoicing
Communicate specific client requirements to the Customer Service manager and team
Attend setups, sales and packups as required and in the absence of the CS managers
This is a hands on position and requires lifting, carrying and being on site for setups and sales. You will be required to lift up to 40lbs
Oversee setups, sales, and packups to ensure our quality and service expectations are maintained
Maintain a positive and exceptional workplace environment
Maintain high customer service standards
Other tasks as required to ensure client satisfaction

You must be professional and approachable
You will have exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) when working with clients, staff, and customers
You will be able to coordinate and positively motivate a small team to achieve difficult tasks quickly and efficiently
You will be able to oversee and coordinate the logistics required to complete clearing an estate, manage competing priorities and multiple clients at once in an organized manner
You will have an understanding and interest in antiques, collectibles, used goods, thrifted goods and more
You demonstrate responsibility and confidentiality when working with clients and customers who put their trust in us with their estates
You will satisfactorily complete a Criminal Record Check

Administration and office work will be from your home - there is no office or storefront/workspace
We will provide a computer, work phone, and printer for your ongoing use
You will require a valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle
You are responsible for your travel to and from setups, sales, and packups
We cover mileage for client meetings and out of town travel
You will be comfortable driving our supplies van
Our work week is Monday through Sunday. This position is self directed and you will be required to manage your time (40 hours) to meet your objectives within this work week
This position is flexible and includes some evening and weekend work
