Who We Are

Transitions was established in 2010 in Regina and area. It was the retirement business of some pretty amazing women who recognized the need to support older adults transitioning to smaller homes, and to help people dealing with the contents of an estate.

In 2019 they were kind enough to show Nicholas Fraser the ropes and he opened in Saskatoon in 2020 under the name YXE Estate Services.

A year later the Regina founders wanted to retire from their retirement jobs, and agreed to sell Transitions to Nicholas. Since then Transitions has been offering high quality estate services across the province.

We now host more than 60 estate and moving sale every year, selling more than $750,000 worth of good quality used items annually for our clients.

  • Nicholas Fraser, BA, CPPA

    OWNER | REGINA & SASKATOON

    After almost 20 years in the non-profit sector, Nicholas wanted a change. Moving from advocacy and policy work, he was looking for something with positive and tangible outcomes. With a deep affection for vintage finds & antiques and a love of getting things sorted and organized, Nich found a good fit with Transitions. Like most small business owners, he works a lot, but when not working, you will find him with his partner Duane and dog Rosa out and about in Saskatoon.

  • Paulette Lashinkski

    GENERAL MANAGER | REGINA

    Paulette retired in 2020 after a 22-year career with CIBC and then "unretired" in 2022 to join the Regina Transitions Team and work as a bookkeeper and a personal income tax professional. Paulette has been happily married for 40 years, a very proud Nana to 6 wonderful grandchildren, and loves to garden, golf, and camp in her "spare" time.

    Brittni was born and raised in Regina and has always had a passion for helping people, thrifting, and organizing. Working at Transitions has been not only one of the most interesting things she’s done but also one of the most rewarding.

  • Tracey Macknak

    CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER | SASKATOON

    Tracey has worked with Transitions Estate Services for 3 1/2 years. She has recently taken on the position of Customer Service Manager Saskatoon, where she oversees the set-up for sales with a fun and professional team. Every sale is different, and every client's needs are different, but she likes the challenge and takes pride in fulfilling every need from start to finish!
